Coming Soon - Your First Home with Miller Homes

New Government support for first-time buyers

The Government's new Your First Home scheme has been announced to help more first time buyers purchase a brand new home, providing additional support for eligible customers looking to get onto the property ladder. The scheme is expected to support eligible buyers purchasing new build homes, with full details due to be announced by the Government shortly.

What is the Your First Home scheme?

The new scheme is being introduced in England to help first-time buyers purchase a new-build home. The scheme is expected to combine a lower deposit requirement such as 2.5% with a 20% government-backed equity loan, aiming to make homeownership more accessible.

While full details are still to be confirmed, the scheme is intended to support people looking to buy their first home and could help make purchasing a brand new home a reality sooner than expected.

The information on this page is intended as general guidance only. It should not be treated as financial, mortgage, legal or tax advice. The right option for you will depend on your personal circumstances, affordability, lender criteria and the specific scheme or incentive available. You should take independent financial advice from a qualified adviser before deciding whether any purchase, mortgage, incentive or scheme is suitable for you. Taking out a mortgage is a significant financial commitment and your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
